All work must be original, created solely by the artist. If the work is created from photographs the photographs must have been taken by the artist.
Work must be created within past fewyears.
Artwork must be in excellent condition, framed and wired. No sawtooth hangs. Canvases may be framed, wrapped, or have painted sides.
Art can be For Sale or Not For Sale
2D and 3D works accepted.
Members only. Member artists may enter up to four pieces for consideration, at least one piece will be in the exhibition. You do not have to enter all four pieces at the same time. Pay the entry fee once and proceed to Step 2 Entry Form for later entries (using required Entry 1 slot each time). Deadline for Entry September 15 at 11:59 pm.
Online entry guidelines:
Use proper capitalization and spellingwhen entering your information and double check that your email address is correct. Your Information will be displayed on the Gallery Card as entered. That includes artist names, titles and mediums.
Files should be .JPEG/.JPG, in RGB color mode (not CMYK)
File size maximum is not to exceed 5 MB
Zipped files and web based files (like .gdoc) are not accepted
Format for JPEG file name: LastnameTitleMediumSizePrice.jpg
Photograph your art work without mat or frame, and crop accordingly. Hint - lay the art on the floor or ground and photograph standing over the work (crop if necessary so it isn't crooked - it is better to have a sliver of missing image than a crooked entry). Photograph your piece on a cloudy day to minimize glare. Use highest resolution possible.
Once deadline is past, edits, replacements or exchanges at the discretion of the Guild.
Sold Artwork: Sold artwork money will be collected by the Strand with a 30% commission. The Guild will take a flat fee of $20 per work sold. Price your work according. Example - if you would like approximately $300 for your work, price it at $470// Please allow time for the monies to be reconciled.
