    Submission of form acknowledges that by becoming a Guild member the applicant(s) opt in to receiving all Guild communications and that the applicant(s) further understand that membership benefits offered are at the discretion of the Brighton Art Guild.  The Guild reserves the right to add, change or cancel benefits without notice.

    The Guild has lots planned for 2024 and Beyond! We would like you to be a P-ART of it all!

    Brighton with Art begins the year with a juried online event open to members and non-members.  Awards given, and an exhibit of the winners will be at The CoBACH Center in Brighton in early Spring.

    Kaleidoscope is our All-Member event and two-week exhibit with an artist reception. 

    The Michigan Guild of Artists and Artisans has partnered with the Brighton Chamber of Commerce this year to present the Brighton Street Art Fair in August. The festival promises more artist participation than ever before. Brighton Art Guild will have tents outside of CoBACH Center with a special tent set up for Guild members to exhibit on site in recognition of our 25th anniversary

    n the fall we will Celebrate the Guild’s 25th anniversary with exhibits of our member's art at the Brighton Library, the CoBACH Center, and other sites about town. We will also host an event that will proudly commemorate the quarter century that the Guild has devoted to the arts and community of Brighton.

    We are developing a new art-cational program called Merge  intended as an after-school program for the high school youth in Livingston County. Target launch will be early in 2024. This will give students an opportunity to explore the arts with the support from Guild members.

    2023 had us venturing out of Brighton with an exhibit in Pontiac. In the works for 2025 we hope to do something similar, although a bit closer – but still garnering recognition beyond Brighton.

    We have lots of opportunities for our members to exhibit at our variety of Art in Public Places: Art in the Alley, Art at A Wilde, Art at CoBACH, Art at Advanced Orthopedics, and Art at the Chamber.

    We appreciate your interest in the Guild, and hope you’ll enjoy participating in our many exhibit and learning opportunities.  We would like to get to know more about you and about your artwork.  Our members are very diverse not only in mediums but also skill levels, from very new artists to seasoned, traditionally trained artists.  We would like to be able to connect artists with similar interests.  We also want you to know and recognize how the Guild organization depends on its members to make it work for all of us.                                                                                                      
    The Guild organization is growing with members who might enjoy contributing to its success.  A couple of hours here and there, a yearly commitment to assist every two or three months with an Art in Public Places exhibit change, or for special events provide members opportunities to meet fellow artists.  Some  Whatever your level of interest, talent and time can be integrated into Guild activities.   
    The CoBACH Center is our display and art space on Main Street in Brighton that the City supports for us. We share the location with the Brighton Area Historical Society and are responsible to the City to keep the building active.

    To that end, our part as the Guild is to be responsible to be Gallery Greeters for approximately 90 ‘sits’ each year.  This involves being at CoBACH for a 3 hour shift; it’s not difficult to do – very easy to learn; and it helps our presence and continued visibility of our Art on Main Street – which is a pretty cool place to be! If each member were to take a shift or two throughout the year that it would easily cover our obligation, i

    Note that artists exhibiting in Public Places venue are required to sit for two shifts.

Patron Memberships are encouraged for individuals or a company that wishes to support the Guild. The membership term is from January 1 to December 31.  It may be purchased anytime during the year. Membership is for two adults living at the same address; or a for a single business membership and is good for the 2025 calendar year.

BAG Family Membership

Family Memberships are extended to two (2) adult family members or partners living at the same address. The membership term is from January 1 to December 31.  It may be purchased anytime during the year and is good for the 2025 calendar year.

Non-Artist Memberships are available for individuals/businesses who wish to support the Guild and will not exhibiting art in the various venues. The membership term is from January 1 to December 31. It may be purchased anytime during the year and is good for the 2025 calendar year.

 Note that any information will be included in the Guild's member directory and available to Guild members upon request, and that members opt to receive all Guild communications.  Member benefits are offered at the discretion of the Brighton Art Guild.  The Guild reserves the right to add, change or cancel benefits without notice.  Members may opt out of electronic communications from the Guild at any time.
