Art in the Alley is an outdoor exhibition with reproductions of Brighton Art Guild Member art work. Pieces are printed and mounted on weatherproof backing.
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations.
Art in the Alley pieces are selected by a member committee, with consideration given to past Guild exhibitions such as Kaleidoscope and Brighton with Art as well as work submitted on the Art in Public Places Image Submission page Art in Public Places Image Submission under the Membership tab. With Art in the Alley in particular, it is very important to have the highest resolution image so that the image can be enlarged without distortion.
To change your photo resolution to the highest quality available, follow the steps below:
Open Settings on your iPhone.
Click on Camera.
Select Formats.
Select Most Compatible. This results in higher quality photos by saving images in JPEG format.
Art in Public Places Images allows Public Places curators and Alley committee see what art is available for the various locations.
