Teachers Exhibit at CoBACH
It’s often been said that those that can - ‘do’, and those that can’t - teach.
Obviously, we know that to be a fallacy!
We have a treasure-trove of talented and exceptional teacher/artists in our midst.
No matter your teaching subject, no matter the type of teaching, public schools, private schools, art classes. If your teaching has helped someone else, you are encouraged to enter this exhibit. Open to all members, 2-d and 3-d Art expression is welcome.
We ask that you share a short statement about yourself that includes your teaching experience that will be included on the Gallery Card.
Next, check your calendar, go to the website and schedule a time to Gallery Greet.
The public enjoys ‘meeting the artist’. If you would like to bring along prints or art works that you would like to show/sell during your Greeter time, you are welcome and encouraged to do so. The Guild will not collect commission for any of those sales.

The CoBACH Center is our display and art space on Main Street in Brighton that the City supports for us. We share the location with the Brighton Area Historical Society and are responsible to the City to keep the building active.
To that end, our part as the Guild is to be responsible to provide CoBACH Greeters for approximately 150 shifts each year. This involves being at CoBACH for a 3 hour shift.
It’s not difficult to do – very easy to learn; and it helps our presence and continued visibility of our Art on Main Street. If each member were to take a shift or two throughout the year that it would easily cover our obligation. CoBACH Greeter Instructions are available on this website
Note that artists exhibiting in Public Places venues are required to sit for one shift for each exhibit entered.
