Taste of Brighton 2026
July 10th and July 11th
Taste of Brighton is a great way to promote the Brighton Art Guild and to promote your artwork or classes you teach by signing up for one of the artist demonstration shifts. Artists will give a demonstration of the kind of artwork they create. During the period of the demonstration the artist will be able to bring a few pieces of their artwork available for purchase. You could bring some business cards that could be handed as well as a flyer for any classes that you teach. The Brighton Art Guild would collect a 20% commission and handle the sales process. Checks for sales will be mailed out following the event
As last year, we need volunteers to help with art activities for kids and adults as well. The art activities included things like rock painting, bubble art or if you have an idea for a simple and fun art activity for kids let us know.
We also use this opportunity to make the public aware of the Brighton Art Guild and try and sell some of our guild merchandise. The sale of Brighton Art Guild merchandise is a fundraiser for the guild and helps support the activities we put on throughout the year. The greeters & cashiers will help with this aspect of the Taste of Brighton.

The volunteer shifts will be about 3 1/2 hours.
The Taste of Brighton goes on until 11pm both nights, but we will not be working beyond 7pm on Friday and probably 7:30pm on Saturday.
Only current Brighton Art Guild members can participate in the Taste of Brighton event.
