GUILD – On the Road 2025 The Brighton Art Guild Biennial GUILD – On the Road 2025 destination Northville Art House. In 2023 the Guild was invited to exhibit at the Strand Theater and Gallery in Pontiac, and 2025 finds us a little closer to home at the Northville Art House. The Guild has been invited by the Northville Art House for an exhibition of our members work from February 11 – March 8 with a Reception on Saturday afternoon 12-2pm February 15. Light refreshments and beverages provided. The Exhibit will be juried for 1st – 4th places, and Honorable Mentions. Prize money will be awarded for each category.
GUILD – On the Road 2025 Agreement
Submissions shall constitute an agreement to comply with all the conditions set forth in this entry form. We reserve the right to photograph and reproduce in any form the GUILD - on the Road 2025 entries for purposes of publicity and/or education.
The Brighton Art Guild, and its agents acting on behalf of the Guild, are not responsible for loss of or damage to any artwork while in the Guild’s possession. Insurance is the responsibility of each artist.
Art Take In
The Art take-in date at the Art House will be February 2nd and 3rd 12pm -2pm both days.
If you would prefer, you may bring your work to CoBACH Saturday, February 1st from 11-5pm. The Guild will deliver your art to the Northville Art House.
Artist Reception Saturday afternoon 12-2pm February 15.
Pick up/Take Down
Artwork will be available after take-down on March 9th and 10th again 12-2pm.
Those pieces of art delivered by the Guild will be returned to CoBACH on March 10th 5-7pm
Additional Information
Art may be for sale or not for sale (NFS).
The Northville Art House receives a commission of 35% on all artwork sold at GUILD - on the Road 2025. Please price your artwork accordingly.
The Brighton Art Guild will not receive a commission on any sales at GUILD - on the Road 2025.
Northville Art House shall keep proper records of transactions regarding the Artist/Owner’s artwork, and such records shall be available for Artist/Owner’s inspection during regular business hours.
Payment on all sales shall be made to the Artist/Owner within sixty (60) days after the date in which the proceeds of the sale are received.
Artwork should not have been previously exhibited at the Northville Art House.
Care and Preservation of Artwork Northville Art House will, with respect to the artwork entrusted to it for exhibition and sale, exercise the same level of professional care and protection as are now in force, or may hereafter be put in force, for the safekeeping and preservation of the property of the Northville Art House itself. Northville Art House will report any damage or other findings to the Artist/Owner. Northville Art House will not clean, restore, reframe or otherwise alter the work without the written consent of the Artist/Owner.
Eligibility & Requirements
All work must be original, created solely by the artist, and must be dry and wired. If the work is created from photographs the photographs must have been taken by the artist.
Work must be created within the past four years. Must not been ever exhibited at Northville Art House.
Artwork must be in excellent condition, ready for secure installation and properly labeled before delivery. All 2D work must be framed and ready for hanging with hooks and a wire. Sawtooth hangers will be rejected. Canvases may be framed, wrapped, or have painted sides. All 3-D work must be large enough to sit on the floor or on a pedestal. Unsuitably prepared, hazardous, unstable, or extremely fragile work will be declined. Submit alternative installation methods for consideration to [email protected] prior to January 25th, 2025.
Greeters are not required at Northville Art House, however members must sign up for one CoBACH greeter time slot.
Entry Process
Brighton Art Guild members only. Must be a Brighton Art Guild Member prior to the entry deadline of January 12, 2025 at 11:59pm.
Entry fee $15. Entry fees are non-refundable.
All GUILD - on the Road 2025 artists are encouraged to submit two artworks for consideration in the exhibit. Two pieces can be entered, one piece is guaranteed to be accepted.
The maximum width for 2-D work is 50" inches including frame, a second is not to exceed 40”.
3-D work must be large enough to sit on the floor or on a pedestal.
File format for uploading is jpgs.
It is very important the following file naming format is used.
