Lily Pad Art Studio's current location is in Kimberly's home studio, in Howell, MI. Classes are held in satellite locations in Brighton and Howell, MI.
Kimberly creates with both colored pencil and in oils, She also enjoys being involved in the community through art.
Kimberly grew up in the Pacific Northwest. She loved art as a child, and continued to pursue her artwork and attended college in Tennessee studying Art and Psychology. Discovering a love of portraiture over the last few years, Kimberly has moved her art in that direction.
While teaching, she draws on her experience and training in early childhood education and years of working with young children. Kimberly thinks that everyone should be able to have access to fine art and she enjoys providing opportunities for others to experience the joy of creating. Just like dance or music, art is a human expression that helps us communicate our feelings in a logical way and creates understanding of the world around us.
